What sort of bugbear do you mean? Earth mythology is inconsistent, and different from D&D descriptions from various editions, which like most D&D creatures, tend to be a mash of peculiar exaggerated far-out traits, most of which will usually be irrelevant in play and overshadowed by what the monster's arbitrary "level" and "hit dice" are.
