Re: (TFT) TFT healing changes - based on feedback.
It's a very long and detailed description. Is there some particular problem
you're trying to solve?
Wizards do have a problem with running out of fST and I can understand it
might be worth having something that reduces the fST cost of spell casting.
But before writing the rule you need to think out what kind of spell
casting is currently impractical that you want to make practical. Is it
single large spells? Maintaining spells? Casting many small spells?
Different rules will affect these differently. Some of them are partially
addressed by semi-separating fST from ST, but maybe there is some
particular problem you want to address that slipped through the net.
Maybe you've thought this through, if so share your thinking so we can
understand. If you haven't thought this through then I suggest you do some
thinking on these subjects before writing the spell.
But I think the spell looks impracticality long.
IQ 27 is also so high it will be moot in most campaigns.
I think I sort of like the idea of putting some of this functionality into
the staff, rather than (as is more usual) a talent, since it helps with
taking wizards prisoner.
