Yep.
As opposed to OSINT (Open Source Intelligence), SIGINT (Signals Intelligence), HUMINT (Human Intelligence -- spies), IMINT (Imagery Intelligence) and so on. Rumor Intelligence is NOT an official category -- but it was a source we used. Technically it would fall under OSINT in the official lexicon. We used the term to differentiate between stuff you read in a book or newspaper or on a blog, and stuff that was "grapevine" originated...
