TFT and G.U.R.P.S. philosophical difference

/chuckle  Thanks for remembering!

My philosophical difference is simple.  I figure that G.U.R.P.S. could have been TFT except that it uses DISAVANTAGES (all caps in the original rules).

If I wanted this in TFT, I could have just allowed curses to adjust a character's attribute total when calculating how much experience their next point costs.
