Re: TFT live at Kickstarter

Frankly, the Index alone would be worth the purchase price.  But considering that he's taking aboard a lot of the recommendations from the folks on this forum and elsewhere and tinkering with the system, I'd say it's well worth the money to pop for the new copies.  Plus, you get much better quality components...

Considering that my copies of TFT are falling apart, I welcome the chance to get new copies that I can play, hopefully benefitting from 35 years of organization and layout knowledge acquired by SJGames in the interim. I want to start over and introduce a new generation to TFT.

Two points that work for you Joe.

However, to answer you, I think I’ll use my funds to splurge on other games I don’t yet own.

And while I’m not privy to SJGames financial status I’m pretty sure they laughed all the way to the bank with Munchkin.

So yep, to each his own I guess. I just thought I’d start a conversation about why jump on the band wagon, get all excited, and buy this.

I’m not sold that it has anything to offer for us old, long time players.

So really, why should I buy into this?

To each his own, but given what I put into getting the entire set of
Metagaming games, I'm happy to splurge a bit and get the big box.

I'm also thrilled that SJ will make some money off his games after all
these years.
