Hi Joseph, everyone.

The item description does not say anything about making the 
victim drop his or her shield.

I’m not sure that striking a person is enough to say that they 
are ‘wearing’ the item.  An arrow, (which sticks in them 
and stays with them), is an obvious exception.)
