!! The more I learn about HT, the less I like him.  I have what I believe
is a first edition DT (punched - sorry, Mav!) which is (c) 1978 by
Steve Jackson.

The rumor I've always heard is that SJ had the choice of taking Ogre/GEV
or TFT with him when he split.  In an alternate universe somewhere he
took TFT and it became the predominant gaming system throughout the world,
and there's a mailing list for an obscure system called DnD :)
