      For what it's worth, in the TFT campaign I ran back when, I ruled that
it took a *purposeful* touch to dispel an Image.  An insect flying through
one had no effect.  If the Image came close to a branch and the leaves
passed through its arm, there was no effect.  If a missile or missile spell
went wild - i.e., missed its target and kept on going - and hit the Image
there was no effect.  An Image only disappeared if someone deliberately
touched it.  Deliberately shooting it was a "touch."

      And no, I said you couldn't disbelieve an Image.
