I don't doubt it.  And I'm sure the rest have fine plate.  I mean, by the time
you can afford W/A enchantments, your two real choices are leather and fine 
plate--maybe with chainmail as a purely interim measure.  What I would like to
do is open up people's options a bit at somewhat lower levels of experience.
I'm not talking about radically changing the penalties associated with heavy
armor.  -4 to DX is not something to be taken lightly. (no pun intended.)
