Yes, but I think the real objection is that if you cast some
spells and tire yourself out, (or run really far and tire
yourself out) then any old 2 ST hit will kill you.  It's 
fine for arena combat, but odd in a campaign setting.  My
solution has been to say that any combination of damage and
fatigue that reduces your ST to 1 or lower knocks you out,
but only if real damage exceeds your ST do you actually die.
