Flexible weapons are dangerous because, if the parrying weapon
hit the chain, they can wrap around the opponents weapon to
either a) cause damage or b) ensare the parrying weapon and
possibly disarm the opponent. (or both) Its still a weight on
the end of a stick, just the stick has become flexible.

This is true as well, but I don't think ANY rpg has tried to
address it.
