My own 2 coppers is that in this case simplest is best. I just use -4 Dx on 
all three attacks, with no special rules about minimum damage or anything of 
that sort. IMHO just about any result can be rationalized / explained away, 
so it isn't necessary to limit the maneuver so as to prevent "impossible" 
results.
