Trying to model the parry effect...
in TFT it'd probably be a to-hit bonus to UC and hand weapons,
which probably couldn't exceed maybe +3, since the bonus for
attacking someone from behind (where they can't really parry
or dodge anyway) is +4. It'd make most sense if you compared
ST (and probably weapon mass) with your target, and divided the
difference by 2 or 3 to get the bonus, though that would add
a fair amount of calculation complexity to TFT.
in GURPS it'd work about the same way, but would be a minus
to your target's attempt to parry (but not to dodge, and either
not, or less, to block). It'd be just as complex, but less of
a relative addition to complexity.
