In Dave Seagraves TFT pbem campaign DX was used
for automatic defenses.  I took a Thief and some
handicaps to get a very high starting DX.  I had
taken NO weapon talents (I used a club).

It turns out I was more of a combat monster than 
people who were straight fighters with a medium DX.
Simply because I was not getting hit and I could 
deal out damage.

So in his campaign DX was even MORE important.
(Dave argued that DX was not the most important 
attribute in his campaign but I didn't believe it
for a minute.)
