RE: (TFT) Wizard mods - out of balance?

Refresh my memory ... IQ does not equal Education - right?

Studying something doesn't make you smarter - correct?

You may learn more stuff - but isn't that where talents come in?

Any thoughts?

???

Poor old Archimedies might be somewhat suprised to learn that he lacks
Talent in Mathmatics...
"Let none but geometers enter here".

I'd say that a Mathematician with Geometery and Calculus has a 2pt
Mathematician Talent.

/Mike hems and haws a little bit

Calculus is just a simplified easier to perform form of geometry.
Calculus is not possible with Roman numerals, but requires a decimal system.

Consider this famous Calculus 4 problem, which still has not been completely
solved to satisfaction.

"Determine the perimeter of an ellipsis."

Further the Egyptian math system used recursive fractions and never had to
face Trancendental Numbers. This can actually be a huge advantage over our
decimal based system of math.

/end hemming and hawing.

Wow, I could have taken you on a great adventure over this subject.
