disengaging
There was an alternate rule that was published in
the last edition of basic melee that goes like this:
Meeple A = A, Meeple B = B
A has DX 13, B has DX 11.
If A disengages from B, normally B can do nothing
and if he can't attack anyone else, he wastes his
turn.
The new rules says B can attack the disengaging A,
as A leaves, with a DX negative equal to the
difference of the adj DX. So 13 - 11 = 2 so B
would attack at -2 adj DX (needing a 9 or less to
hit).
We have long used these rules with no problems.
Warm regards, Rick.
