Re: D&D classic Psionics in TFT

I also remembered that years ago I made a Psionics system for Legends of Time and Space by Dark City Games. With a couple of exceptions, I primarily refactored all of the spells into eight psionic disciplines with seven levels to each, and you had to 'build' your knowledge in a discipline to get to greater powers. It just felt more like training your mind than the more scattered approach of acquiring spells.

I don't... I don't even know what that means.  If I have to be a "-ian" anything I am a Arneson-ian and have made no secret of it.  In Arneson's "First Fantasy Campaign" he explained that the first experience point system was based on the money gained on an adventure, and that a character did not get anything until the spent that money in their "Area of Interest".

As to apples and oranges... really?  Who even says that any more?  How young are you?
