Originally, I had it that way (more expensive) but the players balked.  I
believe it was originally 3 or 4 IQ point cost.  As you know you only use
home rules if the players agree to those rules.  I kept the same four
players for over 7 years by acknowledging their wants to a limit.  If they
were DEAD they were DEAD.  Although, as FM's/GM's we hopefully all cheat a
little on the players side to keep a campaign not scenario going.
