  I saw Tora, Tora, Tora ages ago.  In the opening 
moments of the movie the John Wayne character tells
a joke (that was not bad).  Then he tells it again
to someone else who didn't hear it before.

  I was absolutely charmed by that!  It felt 100% 
like what a real person would do.
