Re: (TFT) TFT Plans for 2009

I am all for this, (and volunteer to help) I especially like the open
source, creative commons, nature of this effort. I also like the wiki idea,
but it maybe best to have one or two people in charge of the overall
rules. A wiki is a very good way to have an easy to access record of ideas
for each rule.

A somewhat different topic (well, very different) it would be nice to be
able to create (or enter for an already created creature) a monster or
character online and from the input characteristics of the creature have a
number generated that indicates the potential danger of the creature, in
other words a rating for the creature which indicates its overall power.
The rating should include its armor, weapons, talents, spells, and magic
items or inherent magic. This would greatly help planning encounters that
would not overwhelm the players. By being able to generate this number for
the players as well it would be easy to tell if a planned encounter is
within the groups abilities.
