RE: (TFT) Theory of dungeons

Happy to, here is my 2 cents.

Whatever the actual design or location: ancient crypt, abandoned underground city, dungeon beneath a castle, caverns of chaos, or what not- it serves as the central plot device for players to go on a quest.

It is a controlled environment usually centralized around some specific quest goal: Find a specific treasure, kill a specific bad guy, free a specific person, or Loot! Loot! Loot! for the home team! Whatever the quest goal, the actual dungeon environment serves as the plot device for the story or adventure to move it forward-at least in my opinion.

Cheers!
