Here is a link to General Test of Melee Knowledge Number I

http://tft.brainiac.com/archive/0112/msg00073.html

from all the way back in December of 2001.

In case anyone
else hasn't
seen it.

The first thing I would note is that this Turn is representing 5 seconds.
Human perception gets "fooled" at around 30ish frames per second.
There should be around 150 "frames" per 5 seconds for animated motion.
Mr Halberd moves 5 hexes (about 20 feet or less than 10 yards/meters) to get into a side hex.
Should we call this half a Turn?
If so then Mr Halberd is moving at about 5 mph.
A brisk walk might be 2.5 mph.

So Mr Halberd is trotting up to the engagement that already occured between Mr Broadsword an the baddie#2?

Why dosen't Mr Halberd get a shot from the rear?

I guess that's not the question.

He get's to set vs. charge because the turns are 5 seconds.
How long does it take to put the ass-end of your weapon in the ground?
5 seconds?
You need training... =====
